BONO AND ALISON HEWSON – 36 YEARS
Bono, of U2 fame, has fascinated each and every music fanatic ever since he embarked on his musical journey. He has been in a marital alliance with Alison Hewson for the last 36 years, and we are completely fascinated with the way they dealt with all the rocky patches in their married life.
They met each other in Dublin while in their teens. It was kind of a date for them but one that hardly weaved any magic. However, the duo managed to stay in touch with each other and continued to nurture their friendship with occasional meet-ups.
It was in 1982 when Bono and Hewson decided to get hitched. Alison happens to be a fiercely private woman and doesn’t prefer any outside intervention in her marriage. She has successfully kept the pair’s personal life under wraps, and we are glad that she did.
