Joan Rivers remained active from the late ’60s until the time of her death in 2014. She rose to prominence with her guest appearances as a host in Johnny Carson’s The Tonight Show, before becoming the first woman to ever host a late-night show called The Late Show with Joan Rivers. She had, ever since, gained a reputation for her unique and controversial sense of humor. The last project she was working on as a host was Fashion Police that finished airing in 2014. Joan was always joking about her plastic surgery addiction, so it was no surprise that she looked a bit… off, when not dolled up.
